We just launched WIC’s 14th Annual Best Practices Survey.

I’ve been here for most of the surveys and every year I learn something to put into practice in my business. I’d be foolish not to. Hundreds of consultants—many of whom are tops in their field—share what helps make them successful. You’ll learn about everything from how they close deals to how they boost their productivity and more.

If you’re a consultant or business owner, set aside 20 minutes—yes that’s all it takes—between now and Tuesday, February 9, to take the survey. It doesn’t matter if you are a man or a woman, work in California or elsewhere, are a WIC member or not—if you’re a consultant or own your own business, we’d love to hear from you. After all, the survey is more valuable when lots of people participate. And, by taking the survey, you’ll be eligible to receive the results.

Take the WIC 14th Annual Best Practices Survey.
The survey takes 15 – 20 minutes to complete.

– All participants who complete the survey receive the results.

– The survey asks detailed questions about your business for the 2015 calendar year, so be prepared with the following information:

  • Total revenue for last year
  • Total profit for last year
  • Average hourly rate (if applicable)
  • Average retainer fee (if applicable)
  • Average project fee (if applicable)
  • Target hourly rate in project fees (if applicable)

All information collected during the survey is confidential.

Survey Results
We will send all participants the report, and will highlight the insights and best practices from the results at a members-only meeting on April 21. Only WIC Full or Leaders’ Network members can attend this value-packed event. So if you don’t participate in the survey and still want the results, become a Full or Leaders’ Network member before April 21.

Contact WIC if you have any questions.
